Nice Solar Panels!!

This is the bill that I opened up last week for utilities, AHHHHH!!!! I was seriously freaking out. Jer and I put some solar panels on our house earlier in the year to help with our bills and they have been great, we have cut our bill to almost nothing with them. Nothing at least until I got this, I called Jeremy in a panic thinking we were getting some sort of penalty or fee for the panels. He just laughed when he heard, I on the other hand did not find it that funny. It was veterans day so of course the Bountiful office was closed so we had to wait all weekend to get to the bottom of what was going on! Jer called on Monday and come to find out we were suppose to have a credit on our account but since they have never had that happen they just charged us for the meter going all the way around instead of going backwards!

Little Helpers!!

This is what happens when you let your boys load the dishwasher and leave then unattended to do it!! Dish soap doesn't work so well!! Jer unfortunately cleaned up a lot of it before I thought to take a picture, but you get the idea!!

Once there was a Snowman...

The other day I sent the boys out to shovel the snow off of the tramp. They were easily distracted and decided to build a snowman. It took almost all of the snow on the grass to do it but i was rather impressed at how well they did on their own. My favorite part about the whole thing was that they were very resourceful with the face of the snowman. Pine cones for eyes, rocks for the nose, and DEER POOP for the mouth!!! They hurried and took it off when Jer came out with the camera thinking that they would get into trouble!! I just laughed!! All of their snow stuff got a good wash!!

Who are these Kids???

Tate and Carter both got some crazy outfits going on the same day (different times though!) they get it from thier father!;)

Fall Fun!

It seem like the last few years we have missed fall and gone right to winter. I have enjoyed the gradual cool down this year and being able to really have fun with the leaves. Unfortunately our leaves are the worst for jumping in, but we have been up to Huntsville a lot in the last little while and we were able to find some fun ones there. Its amazing how easily little boys (especially my boys) can be entertained with a rope and some leaves! I love how they play so well together (for the most part) and how they can get so creative with their games.

Parades and Trick-or-Treating

This year was really fun for Halloween. All my boys were old enough to understand it and to go door to door by them selves Jer and I just followed on the side walk along side them. It makes me sad to see them getting so big. It didn't take much to please them either, we hit both grandmas, and a few houses around our neighborhood and they were done! Works for me especially on a school night!
The end of our trick or treating route, as evidence by Cole not wanting to wear his costume anymore!
This picture makes me laugh because its a side of Jers Dad that doesn't come out very often!!
The Indian, the Clown and the Motorcycle Man
The school parade, it lasted about 10 minutes because the kids seriously ran through the gym, I was lucky enough to have the boys slow up for a minute to get a clear picture!! They had some fun parties after and came home with lots of crafts and more junk food!!

Halloween Programs

Carter and Cole both had programs this year. (Sorry Tate you get the shaft in Kindergarten!) I was shocked that Carter was happy to do all of the actions to the songs and he even told a Joke.... "What did the boy ghost say to the girl ghost?" You Look BOOOOtiful! He said it quiet, but he said it. He gets shy in front of people but he did really well.
Mrs Stacey and one of Carters best buddies Davon.
My sweet Grandma got drug to all of the boys events with me, she cant see but she is a trooper to come. There was a little girl in a yellow dress (you can see it a little in the back ground) She was the only thing that my Grandma could see. My Grandma had her spin and spin, it made me laugh!
Motorcycle Man and Captain Underpants!
Here he is on full get up! I made him take the mask off so you could see his cute smile!
Cole had his first piano recital, he seems to be enjoying it. He was pretty excited about the program, he even got to wear his costume. All of my pictures are a blur because he ran to the piano and back to his seat!

Pumpkin Patches and Carving

Sad to think that October has already come and gone. Between the 3 boys and field trips we had several trips to the pumpkin patch. I made a trip up without Jer and got suckered into some of the biggest pumpkins the boys have ever(and probably will ever) get. But they sure had fun picking them out!! But lots of pumpkins means lots of carving!! My mom had her normal scavenger hunt but because she was going to be out of town we just got to hunt and do crafts. We did get to carve some and the Terry's, the kids always love the dry ice in the drink and I think the Dad's like it more because they get to do dry ice bombs. I was not packing the big pumpkins back into the car so we had to carve those later at the house. The boys didn't mind, I think Carter likes drawing on the pumpkins more than carving them. Gotta love Halloween!!

Summer Recap....plus some?:)

I have been long over due for an update on my blog...LONG overdue. But I feel like I have had so much going on and I didn't want to skip anything so instead I just didn't blog. But so I can move on and feel better about posting again, I am doing a quick recap of a lot of the things that have gone on since the last time I blogged!! I'm more of a picture person so to make my life easier I have a lot of pictures and lets just hope they are worth a thousand words!!! In April Jer and Alisha came into town and we threw the Jer's a surprise party for their 30th birthday. My Jer had no idea and we have such great friends and family that the turn out was awesome!! Luckily I have made it through my 30th birthday with no pay backs!!

Cole graduated from his Kinder music class, he has now moved into piano and is doing really well. I can't believe how long his hair was too!!
Jer and I did the sprint and splash triathlon at the rec center. Jer is a seasoned triathlete but this was my first and I had a blast. I will definitely be doing another one!
The Mater turned 5....crazy how fast they grow up! He is such my sweetheart and peacemaker. I hope that he always stays as sweet as he is now!
Summer Buzz...need I say more!
Lots of Baseball and Soccer. This was Tate's first year in T-ball and he loved it. Cole got to play machine pitch and made the all-star team. The problem with them loving it so much is that they want to try everything, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, football. I can understand why Jer's parent kept things simple for them growing up!! With just the 2 of them in things their is a lot of juggling! I can't image throwing 2 more into the mix!!
Lots and Lots of SWIMMING!! Between grandmas pool, boating, and sprinklers my boys spent a lot of time in the water. They are all little fish. Carter loves to swim (without floaties). He doesn't stray to far from the edge but they all love to be in the water. Cole has turned into a very good little wake boarder and while Jer thinks that they should all be turning back flips at 5, Tate is pretty content skiing right now. Carter is still warming up to the whole ski thing, but the all love to tube!! This is the first year that they actually like it instead of crying the entire time the are out there!! Let just hope it continues that way.
There was a lot of fishing!
Summer is never complete without a few trip up the B to roast tin foil dinners and s'mores and shoot a few guns!!
Of Course Fireworks!!!
The boys all started some sort of School this year. Cole started 2nd, Tate finally got to start kindergarten and Carter started preschool. They are all doing so well, Cole's reading has improved a ton and Tate tries to sound out everything!! Carter is just happy to finally be one of the big kids and go to school!
Jer has participated in several Tris this summer. With the Spud man in July (which I forgot my camera) and also the Bear Lake brawl. He ended up placing 2nd in his age group, he really loves having something to train for. The boys loved being able to go watch him, and they also found some fun in the water catching frogs!!
Jer and I also got to go to Australia!!! A once in a lifetime trip. One of the guys that he taught on his mission that he has kept in good contact with was getting married. So Jer and I went over and were able to attend his sealing. It was such a neat experience. We spent 4 days with him and his family and after we got to go and do all of the touristy things that Jer never got to do while he was on his mission. It was a fun trip for Jer and I and one that will probably take another 10 years to be able to do again..... if that!!!
We had such a fun summer and this isn't even the half of it. Alisha got to come and spend 3 months here while they were in transition from Arizona to Cali. It was so fun to have her and her kids. A small glimpse of what it will be like when they get to finally move back to Utah. Shelly left on her Mission, Brecken took off for south America and Jer and I have been looking forward to welcoming baby #4 to the family in January!! Lots of things going on and now that I feel like I have things somewhat up-dated I just might stay on top of things!!

Easter Mahem

The boys are always spoiled on holidays. They had 4 Easter egg hunts and my thighs are definitely feeling the effects of the candy. I love to have them dressed up and for the most part they like to get look nice like Dad (Meaning white shirt and tie, no more sweater vests.) I just don;t like it cause it makes them look so grown up even if they are so handsome!! After the third hunt....

Cole's buckets wasn't big enough so he switched over to a bag!

Tate checking out the new church clothes.

Chub is obsessed with green, he would have to check the inside of the eggs to make sure they had green candy in them before he would put them in his pale..

Spring Break!!

For Spring break we took the family down to sunny St. George!! At least we were hoping it would be...but not so much! It didn't bother the kids, we heated the pool to like 95* so it didn't really matter what the weather was the kids were swimming. Plus they got to have a sleepover with there cousins every night and what kid doesn't love that. My brother in law celebrated his birthday down there and I was lucky enough to have one of my young women on vacation too who came and took the kids for a night so we could have a night off on our vacation!!! On Saturday Jer and I got roped into doing a 10K with one of our good friends. It was wet and cold, but in the end it was a lot of fun. We finished with a time of 53:36, not to shabby. Jer could have finished faster but was sweet and stuck with me instead of the other Jer!! Sunday was the nicest day we had down there so we took our time getting home by stopping at the park and letting the kids play in the sun before we locked them in the car for the ride home!!! We had a blast and can't wait for summer to begin!! Of course I forgot my camera so I have no picutes except for this one that Robin took with her camera at the start line!!

Happy Birthday Cole

Cole Is 7!!! His birthday was March 30th but were just getting around to blogging about it! This was him after starting a new tradition of taking the first bite or cake with your face!!!(Thanks Jo)!!! The plunge....
Note to self....don't put Jer in charge of buying the gift especially when it involves a gun! The small pistol just wasn't going to hurt enough or what???

Cole is very opinionated about what he wears which is a good thing I guess. Except for when he trashes clothes like he does!!

His Birthday glove cake!

My baby is 7, hard to believe that I have a 7 year old. I love his energy (even thought there are days I would like to cage him because of it). He is so stubborn but has such a sweet heart as well. (The poor kid is more like his mother than his father....Sorry bud). Cole loves to be involved and in charge. He is such a big helper around the house and for the most part with his brothers. He is a natural athlete and is trying to love school....but tends to want to be running more than studying!! I love him so much and am so grateful that he is part of our family!!!
