Whats in your Circle??

One of our neighbors is a pilot and retired on Friday. As part of their tradition they drop the retiree off at their house....in the helicopter!! We had the fire truck and the police cars, it was our own little parade so to speak!! It was really neat to see, the helicopter circled around a few times before they landed. Once they were on the ground they let all the kids come get a hands on look at the body and the inside of the chopper. It was really fun and I'm sure something we might never see again! A Boys Paradise!

Sorry for the binge posting, buts that's just seems to be how we work...got to do it when you got the time! Anyway for FHE last Monday we headed up to Jers sisters house in Farmington and I'm still shocked we were able to drag the kids home! They had such a blast! There were so many animals and things to play that roasting hot dogs and throwing things in the fire was the last thing they wanted to do!! (That's impressive when your raising 4 pi roes!) Anyway, they went 4-wheeling, fed the chickens and the horses, played on the swing set and threw the tether ball at each other. They even set a little time apart to roast their hot dogs and mallows but were right off again to go hunt frogs!! They could have stayed there for days and been perfectly content! Alas the night had to come to an end and luckily they were pretty tired that the fight to the car wasn't horrible. It was sure fun and we look forward to heading back up again soon! Happy Birthday Linds!

One of my dear sweet friends Linds had a birthday a few weeks ago. We had a little get together and enjoyed the 14 kids running wild and some cake and ice cream(any excuse to have a party even if it does involve kids right??) Anyway I thought I would give her a few weeks to blog about it... better yet, blog at all!! Just kidding Linds, being sick sucks! So here you go, Happy Birthday Linds!! This Blog is for you!

Seriously....

On Tuesday I took the older boys to the dentist for their check-up. This was Tate's first time and he did great! I was shocked because its a fight almost every time we have to brush his teeth. Anyway, their were no cavities this trip, but Cole is getting a retainer to widen his bite. When Tate heard that Cole was getting a retainer all chaos broke out! Tate went into a total tantrum, crying, yelling at me, throwing himself on the floor!! Seriously... I could barley control myself and him for that matter. The staff thought it was so cute that he wanted one so bad, and the Dentist even heard the commotion and came to see if he could offer his assistance by giving Tate a prize instead of a retainer(Not that he deserved it by any strech of the imagination). It calmed the tantrum slightly, but the crying continued. All he wanted was a retainer and all I wanted was to get out of there (Then I could yell and beat me child without the whole staff watching.....maybe not beat, but I was so embarrassed I didn't even know what to do to him!) Tate is still alive and the bruises are minimal:), and he will not be going to the dentist with us to pick up the retainer!!! Lets just hope that when it comes time to get braces he will still be that excited to get them!

Suprises, Birthdays, Easter, And More!!

The past few weeks have been crazy!! Alisha came into town and surprised us the last week of march. Unfortunately I wasn;t thinking and got no photos of her and her cute little Liloes! It was so fun to see her again and to be able to spend time with her. Her kids got sick while she was here which always makes it hard to be away from home and away from the hubby! But well take her anytime we can get her sick kids and all! She got to spend General Conference with us and then set off for the long drive home! We look forward to seeing her later in the summer!

Cole also celebrated his 6th Birthday the end of March!!!! Seriously....I have a six year old!! He is such a great kid and for the most part is such a big helper and an awesome older brother. He is one tough cookie and has received the nick name "The Man Child" from some of his friends Dads. But even tough he has the rough and tough side he can really be such a sweetheart! I love him to death and so glad that he is the guinea pig for all of Jer and I's parenting mistakes, he takes it well!! We decided to have a Soccer party for his birthday, which was shocking because I thought for sure he would want some sort of animal party since he is addicted to "Animal planet" and every library book he picks out is about animals! But Soccer it was! We had all of his little buddies over and for 2 hours had total chaos at our house. I definitely can't do that every year, well just stick to the big birthdays and call it good! We sure love him though and our so grateful he is part of our little family!

To Top all that off was Easter!! We headed down to Sunny St. George and for the most part the weather didn't disappoint. We only had one day of rain, but we heated the pool so it didn't matter what the temperature was outside the kids were swim'in! We took the bikes and between the pool, bikes, park and cousins the kids were exhausted by bed time. Which made me even more excited for summer and less excited to come home to a foot of snow in the front yard! Soon enough...right?

Sick of Snow!!

So I have had it with the snow! I am so ready for Spring. I even took it upon myself to put all of our snow clothes away because of the nice weather we have had the past few weeks. So I was really grumpy when I woke up to snow and had to dig the winter coats out for the boys again!! Hopefully this is the last of the storms! I know that we need the moisture, but it would be really nice if the snow would actually come in the winter time instead of the spring!! Anyway here's looking forward to summer, swimming, sprinklers, picnics, tans, and all the other fabulous things that come with the warm weather!

Happy Anniversary!

Jer and I have been married for 7 fabulous years. This year he planned a trip down to the sunny state of Arizona to see my sister Alisha (A trip that has been over due for 2 years now). He was down on business all week and I got to fly down Thursday and meet him. Alisha had no idea that I was coming which made it that much better when I got there. Both our hubbies had to work on Friday which actually made it really nice because Alisha and I got to spend the day together just playing with the Liloes and catching up. Its been hard for me to have Alisha away, I feel like I'm close with all of my sisters, but there is just something extra special with Lish and I. I can't wait (and I know she can't either) to have them closer to Home!! We got to go see there little town of Sierra Vista and meet some of the wonderful people she has made friends with down there. On top of it being a short trip the weather made it even harder to leave!! We sure love her and her little family and miss them like crazy. Lets hope May comes soon, when we get to see them again!

I would be really ungrateful if I stopped there and didn't say how much I love and adore my husband. I'm sure that seven years ago he had no idea what he was getting into, but whatever the case I am so glad that he took the challenge and married me. What can you say to the best of the best? Its hard to put into words how much he means to me, but he really is my best friend. We have definitely had our ups and downs, but thanks to Jeremy there have been a lot more ups than downs! He is the light of my life and such a wonderful father. He motivates me each day to be a better person and I can't imagine spending eternity with anyone else! It really has been an incredible seven years and I look forward to the next seventy!!
