Its A Real Problem

If there is anything that says that it is indestructible I would like it to come to my house and be put to the test. My boys are so hard on everything clothes, shoes, furniture....each other. I am always in awe at how fast they can burn through things especially jeans. I took these pictures the beginning of march and some of the pants were ones that we bought at Christmas.....SERIOUSLY!!! Its tough on the budget but luckily I have a fabulous mother-in-law who mended all of my boys pants and made them look not so white trash!! Plus I found a little treasure...SHOPKO though kid guarantee!!! I'm going to put them out of business, I've already returned 5 pairs of pant all bought at Christmas. Well survive the clothing now and then get through trying to feed them as teenagers!! Love them though!! All pants from this year....sad!

So Ready For Summer!!

Tate had one of his little buddies over the other day and when I went to check on them this is what I found!!! They had changed into their gym shorts and were running through the puddles!! Do you think they are ready for summer or what!! I can't blame them and its probably my fault! I start looking forward to summer January 1st!! Gotta love these boys, they definitely keep me busy! I snaped a few photos before I yelled at them to get in and get some clothes on!!

Happy Anniversary!

On March 6th Jer and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We did a little weekend getaway and went and stayed at the Inn on Capital Hill. We hit dinner and a movie..I highly recommend "I am number 4". In the morning we went for a run together and then hit a session at the Salt Lake Temple. It was a wonderful weekend. I don't even know where to begin with Jer. I fall more and more in love with this man everyday. He is truly one in a million. He makes me laugh everyday and he puts up with my constant emotional mood swings. These last few years have been really rough for me, but Jer has been there every step of the way. I am so grateful to be married to such an amazing man and to be able to get through all of the ups and downs together! He makes me want to be a better person and I can't imagine my life without him!! Thank you for a wonderful 8 years Jer and I look forward to the next 80!!

February in a Flash....

I can't believe that we are already through February!! Where does the time go. I have thought about blogging several times, but that's where it ended....with a thought. So here is one long February post and a pre apology for all of the pictures! We had a great February, it started with some home remodeling...pictures will follow cause even though it started with remodeling it did not end with it! When I have the finished pictures I'll post a few of those! For Valentines Day the boys participated in the Rec centers Cupid 1K. They loved it...all except for Carter, he cried every time someone cheered for him(or cheered at all!) But the other boys did great. Cole finished 4Th overall and 3rd for his age group and Tate finished 3rd for his age group as well. It was fun to see them excited to get out and be active, the Rec center gave them a great goodie bag filled with all sorts of fun stuff and did a great job making them feel special, they are already asking when the next race is! After the big Race Jer was itching to go up the "B" and let the boys shoot his new little "22", a gun that I found out about when we got up and started unloading to shoot! Jer claims that we had talked about it and said that it would be fun to have one, so he got one! Yes I said that it would be fun to have one, I just didn't know that translated to "Honey Go get one RIGHT now"!!!

The kids probably had more fun sliding down the hill on their bums then actually shooting the guns, but either way the whole day was a blast!!

My Baby also turned 3 on February 16th....I can't believe it. He is such a good boy and as if on cue we wound up in the doctors office with double Ear infections.....again!! This makes 2 years in a row!! Happy Birthday to you chub...seriously! You would not have known he was sick though, he is such a content kid. We have a few hours a week that we get to spend time together while the other boys are at school and I love every minute of it. I am sad to see him grow up and start preschool (even though he is SOOOOO ready to be one of the big boys!!) I am so grateful for this little boy and what a blessing he is in my life. He definitely has some spirit, but has such a sweet heart (Definitely more like his Dad than his Mom) We love you so much Carter and are so glad that you are here and complete our family!

On Presidents day we headed up to the Cabin. My boys absolutely love it up there. They were mad at us when they found out that we were only going to spend one night up there. We had the whole crew up too, My parents, Jen and Tom, and all younger unmarried siblings. No trip is complete without a tow from the wheelers!!

I love that they have such a good relationship with their cousins and hope that it continues. This is Cole and Dayvis playing some games on Grandmas phone!

Last but not least we had a lot of fun just being home. I love these three so much and I am so blessed to have them and a wonderful husband in my life!

Tates Tonsilectomy..

Earlier last summer Tate started to snore really bad...like really bad. He would snore (Or breath really heavy) even when he was awake. So in the fall I had him at the doctor for some other weird thing that only Tate could manage to have, anyway the doc checked his throat and said his tonsils were huge!! We had his checked by a specialist and there was no question that his tonsils needed to come out. So we went in the first week in January and had them removed. I am so glad we did, they were so big I can't believe they even fit in his throat!! No wonder the kid had breathing problems!! He did so awesome too not only in surgery but his recovery was amazing!! He was back to normal in about a week and we only had a few really hard mornings!! What a champ!! He is a whole new kid now, I am shocked. He doesn't snore at all now, his appetite his unreal and I'm sure its just the chip of the ice burg!!

Christmas 2010

So here we are at the end of January and I'm finally getting around to blogging about Christmas. Not because I haven't had time, but because I was overwhelmed by pictures. So I did my best to narrow it down but there are still a ton. Its better than the 500 I had to choose from, not to mention that I forgot my camera on several occasions! We had a fabulous Christmas, we spent before and after up in Huntsville riding the sleds behind the 4-wheelers, playing in the snow building snow forts and enjoying family. My Brother Dan and his family came into town just after Christmas, it was fun to see them and its always fun for the grand kids to catch up and play with cousins! We are so very blessed and I'm so grateful for my savior, this year has been rough for us, but it has definitely strengthened my testimony as well as my relationship with my Savior. A picture is worth a thousand words ...right, so excuse to excess amount of pictures, but most people just look at the pictures and could care less to read the print so here it goes...
